About the Session

Ahead of the holy month, COMSATS Lahore invited Soban Attari to help students prepare for Ramadan with the right mindset. The university introduced him as a renowned Islamic scholar, motivational speaker and Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Qaddafi Stadium.

His talk focused on how to prepare for Ramadan and what resolutions to make before it begins, on purifying the self, and on the significance of the blessed month. He spoke about self-control and discipline, about changing habits and intentions, and about using Ramadan as a real turning point in life.

According to the university's report, his interactive and relatable approach resonated deeply with the youth, inspiring them to welcome Ramadan with sincerity, discipline and spiritual ambition.

At a Jashn-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ seminar at the Lahore campus, attended by many professors and students, he spoke about the guidance the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ offers in today’s age of AI. After the session, participants took part in a tree plantation drive.

He has also spoken at a Milaad gathering at the main campus, attended by the campus Director, Dr Qaisar Abbas, heads of departments, teachers and students.

A year earlier, in February 2025, he spoke at an Istiqbal-e-Ramadan gathering at the Lahore campus, attended by senior faculty, staff and students.
